"Sekhar's advice to me not to act, but to be myself worked very well for the film. Talk about Sekhar Kammula and you can tell at once how much she adores him. I've picked up a lot from them which I'm sure will help me in my journey ahead," she says. Tammanna gives credit to directors Sekhar and Balaji Sakthivel for getting the best out of her."It's been an amazing experience teaming up with such talented directors. Interestingly, both films are set against the backdrop of a campus. And the going just got better with her Tamil film Kalloori doing well. Her performance in the film was applauded by one and all. And after that, there has really been no looking back. "Sekhar signed me for the film just one day before the shooting started," reveals Tamanna. For someone who began her career at 13 with a string of flops - Chand Sa Roshan Chehra (Hindi), Sri (Telugu) and Kedi (Tamil) - the lucky break came with Shekhar Kammula's Happy Days.
